At age 5, I started gymnastics and fell in love. I spent the next 17 years dedicating my life to all aspects of the sport. I attended the University of New Hampshire on a full-ride gymnastics scholarship. While in college, I fell in love with the weight room and running. I spent any extra hours during the week following programming from my strength and conditioning coach, as well as trail runs in the woods. I love fitness. When I was done competing in collegiate gymnastics, I found myself lost. I spent time in the gym on the treadmill and elliptical, but did not enjoying it at all and was completely bored. In February 2013, I was introduced to CrossFit, where I immediately fell in love. I entered the CrossFit Open that year, just a week after my first CrossFit class. Let me tell you, that was an eye-opening experience! I wanted more. In the last two years, I have fallen in love with CrossFit more and more. CrossFit teaches you dedication, determination, and drive. It shows you that all your goals are possible, if you can put in the effort to achieve them. CrossFit is my calling. It burns in my soul. And I believe it can help me inspire others to try and achieve their dreams!
