I don’t have and athletic background like most coaches, as a matter of fact I have struggled with being overweight most of my life. I have tried all sorts of fad diets and workout routines and have lost and regained hundreds of pounds throughout my life. After being introduced to CrossFit in 2013 I immediately knew that this was finally the workout regimen that would change my life forever. What I did not anticipate at the time was just how powerful a role the community of CrossFit would play in my life. The support and camaraderie of the community on a daily basis is what has made the biggest difference in my life. Knowing that every time I walked into a workout I was going to be encouraged to do better and be pushed to work outside my comfort zone. This environment was what helped me get into the best shape of my life.
My passion has always been to help others achieve their goals and after seeing and feeling the positive impact that CrossFit has had in my life, I was convinced that coaching others to achieve their fitness goals is what I am meant to do.
