I’ve been involved in sports my whole life. I am very active and always looking for something to do. My background is quite versatile. My younger years I started with ballet and gymnastics. As I got older I moved on to team sports like soccer, basketball, fieldhockey, and track and field. Then a few years back I thought I’d try something else and got involved in horseback riding.
Even with my involvement in all of these activities I still felt there was something missing. Thats when I found crossfit. It all started when a friend posted a status on facebook that involved “wods” and “wall balls”. I had no idea what either was about but I had to find out. After his brief explanation my interest was piqued and I knew I had to try it. I honestly can’t even tell you what my workout was on that first day but it left me sore and wanting more. My addiction stemmed from the different challenges that were presented every day. Crossfit has changed my life in every way and I am happy to be part of such a great community at CrossFit Free.
